Lauren Novero, Dark Chocolate

I just watched Twilight Dancers the movie, and while Tyron Perez the lead star was creamy and yummy, this Lauren Novero caught my eyes not once, not twice, but everytime he was on-screen! He is the ULTIMATE Pinoy hunk -- dark chocolatey skin, tall, deliciously muscled -- not bato-bato, not too gymish, but just right (pang-romansa)!

Iago Raterta, all-Filipino

Look at Iago and there's no mistaking that he's 100% Pinoy. The smooth and consistently burnt brown skin (kayumangging kaligatan) on this tall Filipino hunk makes girls and gays drool as he walks down the models' ramp. But he's first and foremost a basketball star from the University Belt. An Ilonggo, Iago is not just any Pinoy -- he's the classic malambing Pinoy but with the body of a knight in shining armor... or maybe take that armor off, and let's just enjoy him in naked goodness! Ramp model and Belo endorser, Iago is also the Philippines' bet in Manhunt 2006.

James Blanco, the immaculate

A near-fatal car accident left a big scar on James Blanco’s right arm, so he’ll never forget it all his life. "It happened when I was seven years old," said James. "The rented jeep we were riding in turned turtle and I was thrown out of it."

That intimation of mortality happened again three years ago when his mother died, a tragedy that has left a gnawing pain in James’ heart. "She was young," said James. "Until then, I thought that only old people die." That’s why James has learned to value life perhaps unlike many people his age.

"Life is short and precious, so why bother with petty things?," he added.

"Petty things" such as, yes, showbiz intrigues.

"I don’t let them affect me," assured James who was rumored to have cut ties with his first manager, Popoy Caritativo, after more than five years because he got jealous of Popoy’s other talent, Dennis Trillo, who is getting the big breaks and hogging the spotlight without his meaning to.

"Dennis is my friend," said James who’s now in the stable of Arnold Vegafria, "and I have nothing against him. I don’t have any hard feelings for Popoy who has helped me a lot."

Discovered via the Lifebuoy TV commercial which rightly portrayed him as a Mama’s Boy ("I am"), James has been in the business for six years, introduced in Regal Films’ Cool Dudes with Cogie Domingo and Danilo Barrios. He has done six other movies after that (the last was Canary Films’ Kutob, shown at last year’s Metro Manila Filmfest).

Second to the eldest among five children, James quit his studies when showbiz beckoned (he was then a B.S. Marketing junior at the Philippine School of Business Administration in Quezon City).

James stands 5’8.5", weighs 145 lbs., has a 30-inch waistline, and wears medium-size briefs and size-10 shoes.

Polo Ravales, cutie hunk

The young actor’s career has taken a new turn when he emerged as the sexy and hot Polo Ravales. Gone is the teen idol, and in its place is a leading man.

Polo matures as an actor by portraying the antagonist in two of GMA's biggest soaps: Now and Forever Season 6's "Linlang" and Majika. As Paolo in "Linlang" and Ebrio in Majika, Polo proves that there's more to him than just a gorgeous face.

Marky Cielo, I like exotic

Marky Cielo (born Mark Angelo Cadaweng Cielo on May 12, 1988 in Butuan City, Agusan del Norte, Philippines) is a Filipino actor. He was the Ultimate Male Survivor and the first Sole Survivor of Batch 3 of the reality TV show StarStruck and the the first Igorot ever to join that contest. Although he grew up in Mountain Province, he can also speak the Visayan dialect fluently.

Alfred Vargas, bold and beautiful

Alfred Vargas (born in San Juan, Metro Manila on October 24, 1981) is a Filipino film and TV actor. He was originally a member of ABS-CBN Star Circle acting workshop batch 10. From there he had his TV role in the drama soap opera Pangako Sa Yo (My Promise to you) from the same network. But this Ateneo de Manila graduate was acting in theatre long before the talent scouts lured him into television.

Undoubtedly his breakthrough role came in the film Bridal Shower by Seiko films in which he was able to display his acting potential as a drama actor. This along with the move to the GMA Network opened a slew of opportunities for the young actor. This move has seen him feature in prominently in three notable shows in Philippine television, the daytime drama Daisy Siete and the fantasy series' Encantadia (as Aquil) and Etheria (as Amarro).

He is currrently rumored to have relationships with Diana Zubiri and StarStruck Batch 2's final 4 LJ Reyes.
